This painting captures the bittersweet beauty of a life that was cut short.
We're drawn into the dark forest, its trees and bushes tinged with the warm colors of gold and red.
The colors suggest the beauty and vibrancy of my son's life, even as the darkness around them represents the sorrow and loss of his passing, too young, at only 17 years old.
The pathway that winds through the forest symbolizes the journey that my son took through life. It's a journey that was cut short, leaving us to mourn his loss and wonder what might have been.
As we follow the pathway, we're reminded of the warmth and light that our son brought to us, even as we grieve his absence.
It is a deeply moving tribute to my son, capturing the complex emotions of loss, grief, and love that come with losing someone so young.
May God rest him in peace
This year, on 29th of March, 2023, my son died at only 17 years and 4 months.
It happen so suddenly and it was such an accident that I would have never thought it can happen to him, to us. Ever since, all my paintings are just trying to represent what I feel, to make us all to reflect to our life, why we are here, and to help us using our time here wisely.
The "Impermanence of Existence" is a collection dedicated to him.
