Ce este tehnica Reverse Dip Pour?

Aceasta este o tehnica de turnare, folosita cu culori acrilice, in care folositi o folie transparenta de protectie, peste o pictura, o lasati sa stea 1-2 minute si apoi o ridicati vertical.

Ce puteti face cu aceasta tehnica, Reverse Dip Pour?

Aceasta tehnica este folosita in special pentru a crea efecte ca de floare. Puteti aseza culorile fie ca petale, fie pe diagonala. Puteti crea si alte efecte in functie de inspiratie, de culorile folosite, de modul in care ridicati folia protectoare. Puteti sa o ridicati fie direct vertical, fie dintr-o parte in alta, fie de la stanga la dreapta sau invers, fie de sus in jos sau invers, fie pe o diagonala, etc.

What do you need for this technique?

• 1 canvas
• 3-4 colors
• 1 base color (white, black, light blue, light yellow, light gray)
• floetrol
• plastic cups
• 1 pad per each color
• 1 protective plastic foil or a food foil, with the dimension a little bit bigger than the canvas

How to create a painting with reverse dip pour technique?

1. Take a canvas, protect the back margins and place something below it to avoid direct contact with the working surface. I use 4 tacks, placed one in every corner.
2. Prepare the colors, 1 part paint, 2 parts floetrol, water until you have a honey consistency
3. Paint the base in white / black or whatever color you want and cover also the margins
4. Take 1 color at a time and layer the paint with your pad in the desired design
5. When you finished, take the protective plastic foil and place it carefully on top of your painting, avoiding to let air bubbles between the paint and the foil
6. Let it settle a few moments
7. Lift up the protective foil, either straight up or from one side, depending on your design
8. Torch the painting to break the air bubbles
9. You can let it like this or you can add your personal touch
